Installation Process. What’s Involved?
Although generators can be installed in 1 or 2 days, it’s important to remember that generator installation is not a weekend DIY project and should be done by licensed professionals. A team of licensed electricians and technicians will come to your home or business to help with the installation process.
Here’s how it works
- Our electrician will install your transfer switch first.
- After that’s installed, our team will move your generator in place.
- Electric lines will then be connected from your transfer switch to your generator.
- Once electric is hooked up, our pipefitter will make the proper connections from the fuel source to the generator.
- After electric and fuel is hooked up, your generator is ready to start and protect your home or business.
